This years podiums discussion is inspired by the recently released UK documentary “ChemSex”, which is pointing to the increasing issue of sexualized drug use or drug-enhanced sex amongst men in Europe. Cities like London, Berlin, Paris, Madrid experience what major cites in the US went through about a decade ago – particularly connected to the rise of Crystal Meth.Sex & drugs have a very long history. In this discussion we want to explore some of the underlying threads and motivations that come to bear when we combine drugs with sex - be it alcohol, marihuana, cocaine, mdma, ghb, ketamin or, in this current wave crystal meth, also know as “Tina”,“T” or “PNP”.
