Continuum Teachers

Teri Carter MA, RSMET, BCTMB, shares 30 years of experience in dance and mindful body practices. Through workshops and performances, she explores fluid bio-creativity and how that engagement is expressed through conscious movement.
Teri founded and directs SOMAfest, Somatic Movement Arts training program, Somatic Speaker Summit, and she serves as President of ISMETA. As an Authorized Continuum Teacher with a Masters in Dance, she co-taught the Somatic Performance Lab with Emilie Conrad, performed in the Continuum Movement Theater Ensemble, and substitute taught for Emilie in the L.A. studio 2007-2014. Teri has a private practice and teaches classes in person and virtually in Los Angeles and globally.
