Continuum Teachers

Sabine Mead
The foundation of my experience is Modern Dance and Movement Improvisation, which I began studying in 1976. I danced in a company that was based in performing Improvisation from 1980-1989. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1986 with a B.S. focusing on Dance, Kinesiology and Poetry. Dance led me into Authentic Movement, Yoga and BodyMind-Centering. I completed various trainings and in-depth studies in these modalities in the early and mid 1990s. An interest in psychotherapy led me to complete a two-year training in Hakomi Body-Centered psychotherapy in 1996. I became a certified Yoga Teacher with Erich Schiffmann in 1998.
In January of 2003 I was introduced to Continuum. From that very first workshop, I knew I had found a practice that integrated self discovery and spiritual depth with movement as its essence. I was invited by Emilie Conrad to be an Authorized Continuum Movement Teacher, which I did from 2007 - 2015. Currently, I am a member of the Continuum Teachers Association and now teach my own fusion of resonance based somatic work called Resonant Body Movement™. I created and teach Alchemy of Eros: A Journey of Whole Being Radiance and the Primordial Depths retreat.
