Continuum Teachers

Priscilla Auchincloss holds a Ph.D. in physics and spent many years in academia before returning to a passion for movement that began with ballet and modern dance in her teens. Inspired by Emilie Conrad and Deborah Raoult to become a teacher of Continuum, she eventually left the university and opened a movement studio, Physikos: The Art and Science of Movement, where she taught Continuum and hosted a variety of classes, workshops and events led by teachers of yoga, dance, music and meditation.
She now lives in Rochester and teaches independently there, also co-offering workshops with like-minded collaborators exploring the healing process with sound, conscious attention and other tools. Finding in Continuum a guide to a more authentic, elemental and physical way of life, she freely weaves together analytical approach of science into the intuitive, artful process of movement.
