Continuum Teachers

Melanie Gambino brings 30 years of Continuum experience to her teaching. Working as a Continuum Teacher is the basis of all of her work and the underpinning philosophy of her life.
She has studied somatic practices, danced, performed and choreographed her entire life. Melanie is on faculty at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase. She is the Resident Choreographer and Director of Dance, Somatic Movement and Meditation Studies at The Harvey School Performing Arts Department.

 

Melanie holds a BFA, BA, MA, and a RSMTE through ISMETA. In additon, she is an ordained minister of healing and interfaith services through HLCC and has served as CAM Therapist, and Expressive Healing Arts Therapist and Chaplain in several area Hospitals Hospices Nursing Homes and Rehab Centers.

 

Melanie is dedicated to the inquiry and exploration of what it means to be a human being/artist at this time in our ever changing world.
