Batyah Schachter
Dancer/choreographer, graduated the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam (1989), Batyah collaborated in improvisational work with musicians and dancers and created and performed solo dances in Europe and Israel.
Since 1998 she has been a faculty member of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Batyah is a doctoratal student at The Hebrew University, writing her thesis on movement in the art of the Ancient Near East. Her papers on the subject have been published in Europe and Israel.
